Project: Big Buck Resort

Goal: Big Buck Resort is under new ownership and needed a website that would reflect the quality of the ammenities now being offered.

Preferred Colors: Earth tones

Desired Feel: Crisp, classy and family-friendly

Result: Ben Rudd, the owner of Big Buck Resort, had a plethora of pictures which was used in the structural design of the website. These pictures provide the backbone of the website to allow visitors to see up-close the many wonderful ammenities of this resort. The combination of the "sky blue" and earthy brown colors completed the website to give the enhance the relaxing feel of an outdoor resort.

Project: Marty Pettit Photography

Goal: Marty Pettit is an experienced photographer who has been doing photography on the side for years. He is now ready to launch his business full-time and needed a website to reflect his serious passion for photography.

Preferred Colors: Dark background colors

Desired Feel: Historical, classic, strong

Result: Marty wanted to go all out with a fully flash animated site. The transition and the music create a multi-media presentation worth of his profession.

Project: Playa del Rio :: RV Resort & Yacht Club

Goal: Playa del Rio's previous website had a lot of good information. It simply needed a new look to attract quality customers.

Preferred Colors: Colors that would correspond with the beach (not bright beach ball colors)

Desired Feel: Sophisticated, relaxing, welcoming

Result: Teel Designs decided to go with colors of the sun, water and sand to entice customers to make reservations with the resort. The navigation of the website was restructured to be easier to follow and on-location photos were used to give customers a true view of the resort.

Project: Only Photography

Goal: Kristina Only, a photographer and photo editor for VIP Magazine - Jackson, needed a website to share her portfolio with potential customers.

Preferred Colors: Black & White (with color photos)

Desired Feel: Classy, clean, sophisticated

Result: The simplicity of this site allows the quality of Kristina's photos to shine through. This website was also designed in a way that would allow Kristina to update her own photo gallery as often as she likes.

Project: Women's Journal

Goal: To update the look of the Women's Journal website.

Preferred Colors: Pink

Desired Feel: Fresh, Clean, Feminine

Result: To achieve this goal, Teel Designs combined an intriguing graphical gateway into an easy-to-navigate site. This is the third look that Teel Designs has created for the Women's Journal. Grace Desnoyers, the publisher of the Women's Journal, is very innovative and makes sure that both the newspaper and the website stay current and relevant to today's women.

Project:Jackson Symphony Orchestra

Goal: To update the existing website.

Preferred Colors: Dark, sophisticated colors

Desired Feel: Sophisticated

Result: The pre-existing website was very large and difficult to navigate. The first item of business was to restructure and simplify the navigation system. Then, the theme was created using artwork for the brochure for the 2006-2007 season. The site was custome designed as a template to allow the staff of the Jackson Symphony Orchestra to be able to update the contents of the website themselves.

Project: Eagle Mission Mexico

Goal: To communicate with people from the United States regarding the mission work in Mexico

Preferred Colors: Colors that are used a lot in Mexico

Desired Feel: Personal

Result: Eagle Mission Mexico is an amazing mission project. Ricky and Ann Keel wanted to make sure that the site was accessible by people from both nations, so they translated the site into Spanish. We also added an online donation button to allow people to quickly and easily contribute to this awesome work.

Project: Regional Inter-Faith Association (RIFA)

Goal: To update the existing website.

Preferred Colors: Red, brown & gold (colors of the logo)

Desired Feel: Professional, compassionate

Result: The previous website for RIFA had become quite large with several broken links and confusing navigation. The first step was to restructure the navigation. We then went through several drafts to get the appropriate feel for the website that would feature the needs of patrons. We also added a donation button connected to a PayPal shopping cart to allow visitors to make an online contribution to RIFA.

Goal: To create an informational website for new patients and a resource for existing patients.

Desired Feel: Clean and fresh

Result: This website provides forms, information and links that are invaluable to new and existing patients. It also saves time in the doctor's office by being prepared in advance.

Result: This website provides vital information on the ministry of the BCM @ JSCC. It provides calendar information and useful links to assist the students of Jackson State to get plugged in.

Project: Paula McCarty Portrait Design & Artistry

Goal: To create an online prescence for the portrait designs by Paula McCarty

Preferred Colors: green

Desired Feel: Wimsical

Result: Paula does a lot of portraiture with children dressed up in fairy costumers. She wanted to highlight this feature. We used a combination of one of Paula's landscape portraits with several fairy pictures and animated the wings to create this unique effect.

Desired Feel: Clean, simple and to the point

Result: The use of the black background allows the color in the photographs to stand out. This site is easy to navigate and gets the point across.

Project: Woodall Construction Group

Goal: To update the existing design of the WCG website

Preferred Colors: Red, white and blue

Desired Feel: Strong, detailed and organized

Result: John Woodall, president of WCG, created a template in Publisher that he wanted to convert to a website. We added dimension to the graphics, rollovers to the portfolio and flash to the homepage to create a more professional website.

Project: Jeffrey Shaw, LLC

Goal: To create an online prescence utilizing several technologies to share the personal style and philosophy of Jeffrey Shaw, LLC.

Preferred Colors: Black & White (with color photos)

Desired Feel: Unpretentious, traditional with a contemporary twist

Result: Jeff knew what he wanted for his website and had a lot of great ideas. We used several new technologies including an .mp3 player, slideshow and video player to give a cutting edge appeal to this website. Jeff also wanted to keep his content on the main screen without having to scroll. To achieve this, we came up with the concept of mouseover text.

Project: West Jackson Baptist Church

Goal: To update the existing website and to provide the most current, up-to-date information possible with a simple navigation system.

Preferred Colors: Dark blue, light blue & gold (colors of the logo)

Desired Feel: Traditional with a contemporary twist

Result: The navigation system was the most important feature of this website because the site is so large. To achieve this, the main navigation system at the top contains drop down menus. Then, additional links were added to the left and right panels to allow direct links to pages that are deep within the website. The home page contains all of the upcoming events with links to more information. This allows the church to be constantly informed.

Project: Justin Peters Ministries

Goal: To inform people of Justin's background and ministry areas. To provide a way to contact Justin.

Preferred Colors: Rich, masculine colors

Desired Feel: Sophisticated and professional

Result: We created a clean site that presented the information in a concise manner. To help promote Justin's ministries, we scattered testimonials throughout his website. We also connected the website to a PayPal shopping cart to allow donations to be made through his website.

Project: Madison-Chester & Crockett Baptist Associations

Goal: To update the existing website.

Preferred Colors: None

Desired Feel: Fresh & clean

Result: The Madison-Chester & Crockett Baptist Associations website simply needed an updated look with updated information. The basic contents of the website remained the same. We added a "Pastor Resources" section to provide links to websites that would be beneficial to pastors.

Project: Sandra Stroh Fine Portraiture

Goal: To update the existing website. To separate the photos into individual photo galleries. To allow Sandra to use the website to conduct pre-session consultations over the phone.

Preferred Colors: Black & Gold

Desired Feel: Elegant & sophisticated

Result: Sandra knew exactly what she wanted for her website. We used a mouseover gallery to allow her pictures to load quickly. Sandra found an edge effect that she wanted added to each picture to soften the edges of the photos.

Project: Perkins Photography

Goal: To showcase sample portfolios for Perkins Photography.

Preferred Colors: Deep Eggplant

Desired Feel: Elegant, rich, sophisticated

Result: This website is completely Flash animated. It includes an animated intro leading into multiple portfolio collections. The portfolio collections will continue to scroll automatically or you jump directly to a specific collection. The soft piano background music completes the experience.

Project: The Living Room (a sub-web of Calvary Baptist Church, Jackson, TN)

Goal: To provide a place for students to learn more about the Youth ministry at Calvary Baptist Church

Preferred Colors: None

Desired Feel: Trendy, current

Result: The inspiration for the background of the banner came from a rug located in the Youth room at Calvary. This also provided the color scheme for the website.

Project: Calvary Kids (a sub-web of Calvary Baptist Church, Jackson, TN)

Goal: To provide a fun and inviting portal for children and their parents to learn more about Calvary's children ministry.

Preferred Colors: Bright

Desired Feel: Fun, Energetic, Playful

Result: This subweb design is centered around bright, colorful circles. The Swish animated intro instantly provides a fun atmosphere. Features include photo galleries and pdf newsletters to keep the site fresh.

Project: Xtraordinary Events

Goal: To advertise the many products and services of Xtraordinary Events.

Preferred Colors: Red, Black & White

Desired Feel: Professional and Fun

Result: Xtraordinary Events of Jackson offers a lot of products and services. To make sure that each one was visibly seen, a left-panel navigation system was created that includes each individual item listed. The logo was animated to add interest. Additional features include rotating product pictures, rotating quotes, and Google AdSense to maximize earning potential.

Goal: To showcase the fiber-base print work of Renaissance in... Black & White.

Desired Feel: Elegant, Classy, Timeless

Result: The concept of this website was easy to achieve. The use of black & white photography provides the elegant backdrop for this website. The purpose is to showcase the artwork and to inform customers that fiber-base printing is alive and well. Features of this website include a rotating portfolio, Swish animated title, and contact form.

Project: Palm Coast Construction, LLC

Goal: To advertise the services of and display finished products of Palm Coast Construction, LLC.

Preferred Colors: Sunset and Blue

Desired Feel: Professional, Fresh

Result: This website began with a re-design of the company's logo. From there, the color scheme evolved into a bold, classy theme. Photoshop was used to optimize the photo of the showcase home. Additional features include rotating portfolios, Flash animated title bar, and an interactive map.

Project: TakeOut Taxi, New Orleans

Goal: To provide online menus and company information for TakeOut Taxi, New Orleans.

Preferred Colors: Red, Black & White

Desired Feel: Bold, Trendy

Result: Teel Designs created the original website for TakeOut Taxi, New Orleans over three years ago. It was time for an update. They wanted a sleeker design with some animation. This website features rotating logos from participating retaurants, an embedded clicp of TakeOut Taxi's commercial, Swish animated text, and PDF documents.
