Project: Kenny Barnes Studio

Goal: Redesign Website

Preferred Colors: Dark, Gold

Desired Feel: Venetian

Result: Kenny Barnes is a photographer in Wilmington, NC. His wife Elizabeth has a flair for design and wanted a Venetian look to the website with a column and plaster-wall paint effect. The combination turned out to be a stunning backdrop for their website.

Project: Gregory Daniel Portraits

Goal: To update the existing design of the website

Preferred Colors: Dark, browns/blacks

Desired Feel: Elegant and Sophisticated

Result: Greg Daniel had wonderful ideas about how he wanted his website to look and feel. He had the ability to sketch out some ideas using PhotoShop which were then translated into an actual website..

Project: Only Photography

Goal: Kristina Only, a photographer and photo editor for VIP Magazine - Jackson, needed a website to share her portfolio with potential customers.

Preferred Colors: Light

Desired Feel: Classy, clean, sophisticated

Result: The simplicity of this site allows the quality of Kristina's photos to shine through. This website was also designed in a way that would allow Kristina to update her own photo gallery as often as she likes.

Project: Genia Ozburn Photography

Goal: Genia wanted a new look for her existing website.

Preferred Colors: Browns/Blacks

Desired Feel: Rich, elegant, classy

Result: The rich background of the website allows the colors in Genia's portraits to pop. Genia also added a link to her Fine Art portraits that are available for sale and enabled Client Access to preview portraits.

Project: Perkins Photography

Goal: To showcase sample portfolios for Perkins Photography.

Preferred Colors: Deep Eggplant

Desired Feel: Elegant, rich, sophisticated

Result: This website is completely Flash animated. It includes an animated intro leading into multiple portfolio collections. The portfolio collections will continue to scroll automatically or you jump directly to a specific collection. The soft piano background music completes the experience.

Project: Marty Pettit Photography

Goal: Marty Pettit is an experienced photographer who has been doing photography on the side for years. He is now ready to launch his business full-time and needed a website to reflect his serious passion for photography.

Preferred Colors: Dark background colors

Desired Feel: Historical, classic, strong

Result: Marty wanted to go all out with a fully flash animated site. The transition and the music create a multi-media presentation worth of his profession.

Project: Carrie Prewitt Photography

Goal: Carrie wanted a new look for her children's photography website

Preferred Colors: White / Pastels

Desired Feel: Fresh, clean, classy, kid-friendly

Result: The combination of the animation and the pastel colors gives Carrie's website a fun flow. The colors are kid-friendly while still providing a classy look that will appeal to adults as well.

Project: Micael-Renee

Goal: To redesign the existing website.

Preferred Colors: Dark, blacks/browns

Desired Feel: Elegant, Sophisticated, Timeless

Result: Michael Thompson wanted to update the look of his existing website to have the images larger and improve navigation. He also wanted to keep the black and gold logo. The richness of the brown background coordinated well with the logo. And, allowing for larger images, the colors in his portraits really pop.

Project: Jeffrey Shaw, LLC

Goal: To create an online prescence utilizing several technologies to share the personal style and philosophy of Jeffrey Shaw, LLC.

Preferred Colors: Black & White (with color photos)

Desired Feel: Unpretentious, traditional with a contemporary twist

Result: Jeff knew what he wanted for his website and had a lot of great ideas. We used several new technologies including an .mp3 player, slideshow and video player to give a cutting edge appeal to this website. Jeff also wanted to keep his content on the main screen without having to scroll. To achieve this, we came up with the concept of mouseover text. Update: We updated the homepage of Jeff's website to coordinate with a print ad campaign.

Project: Smallwood Photography

Goal: To create an online prescence for the photography of Jennifer Smallwood

Preferred Colors: Black background

Desired Feel: Clean, simple and to the point

Result: The use of the black background allows the color in the photographs to stand out. This site is easy to navigate and gets the point across.

Project: Sandra Stroh Fine Portraiture

Goal: To update the existing website. To separate the photos into individual photo galleries. To allow Sandra to use the website to conduct pre-session consultations over the phone.

Preferred Colors: Black & Gold

Desired Feel: Elegant & sophisticated

Result: Sandra knew exactly what she wanted for her website. We used a mouseover gallery to allow her pictures to load quickly. Sandra found an edge effect that she wanted added to each picture to soften the edges of the photos.
